What's the Difference Between Rip and Bundler?

In the Rip mailing list, defunkt says:

Bundler is for installing gems. Rip is for managing your load path and installed packages.

Rip isn't yet ready to manage your deployments, whereas I think bundler is.

This short answer could be helpful.
